Description
In our industry, HRV is commonly used as a real-time biofeedback tool for intervention. In this webinar, we will present the difference between Resting or Baseline-HRV in comparison to HRV-Biofeedback, and how assessing your client’s Resting-HRV can be used as a daily monitoring tool to assess emotional regulatory changes in your clients.
Objective
Understand the difference between Biofeedback-HRV and Resting-HRV, and how the latter can be used as an emotional regulatory tool.
Presenter
Alexander Oviawe
Alexander Oviawe is a former Physiologist with a Masters in Physiology. After suffering clinical depression and developing anxiety after the demise of his first startup, Alex became interested in how his emotional state was being reflected daily via his Resting-HRV, which was a feature in his original medical startup. From there, Alex went on to found PsychogenX as a way to provide Resting-HRV assessment without the use of any additional hardware.
