Description

Bioregulation Therapy (BRT) is an innovative and proven modality that uses advanced biofeedback and pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) technology to address both the physical and emotional issues surrounding addiction and recovery. Whether used in tandem with neurofeedback, as a complement to other modalities, or as a stand-alone therapy, BRT can play a key role in helping clients deal with stress, heal physically and experience success in any stage of recovery.

LearningObjectives

  • Explain how BRT can help break the cycle of addictive behaviors and substance abuse
  • Describe how BRT can help ease the physical aspects of addiction and recovery
  • Explore how BRT can address the emotional and psychological components of addiction – anxiety, depression, paranoia, self-worthlessness – which can be both cause and effect
  • Describe how BRT can be used together with neurofeedback to help calm the nervous system and relax the body
  • Discuss how to communicate and collaborate with Recovery Centers, School Districts, Employee Assistance Programs, and more, in order to create a 360 approach to recovery
