Biographical Info Born and educated in Toronto. Then taught English in a German high school and decided to become a child psychologist/school psychologist. After working in that field and owning learning centres, discovered neurofeedback and, with my late husband, Michael Thompson made the ADD Centre & Biofeedback Institute of Toronto a centre of excellence.

Qualifications A registered Psychologist since 1982 and Executive Director of the ADD Centre (with branches in Toronto & Mississauga) since its founding in 1993. Co-author with Dr. Bill Sears of The A.D.D. Book, the first book for parents about managing ADHD that had a chapter on neurofeedback. Co-author with Michael Thompson of The Neurofeedback Book and, also, the monograph, Functional Neuroanatomy, which have become basic textbooks in our field. Recipient, with Michael, of the Distinguished Scientist Award from AAPB and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Biofeedback Federation of Europe. Firmly endorse combining NFB and BFB, especially HRV, along with promoting healthy diet, exercise and sleep for optimizing results.
