Biographical Info MECC is an integrative practice housing twelve clinicians with various specialities and expertise. Within this practice, all clinicians support from and integrated perspective that combines knowledge of gut-brain axis, brain based and neurological perspectives, and evidence based psychotherapy approaches. With the brain based approaches, MECC does utilize pIRHEG neurofeedback and utilizes innovative, hypothesized tools such as Vibro Acoustic Therapy, which includes bimodal vibrational and auditory input.

Qualifications MECC was founded by Jody Angel-Trejo, in 2012 with a focus on the treatment of children, taking and eclectic approach with evidence based treatments. Since the inception in 2012, Jody has presented throughout the state, served on various boards and task-forces and also serves as a consultant for UNL fellow attorney program. Jody also provides supervision to various clinicians within the Buffalo County region. Jody is trained in EMDR, TFCBT, TANT, CBT, DBT, Adlerian Play Therapy, CPP, and other child focused modalities. Adding neurofeedback has been a welcomed addition to support children in returning to a healthy trajectory in brain development and neuronal functioning.
