Andrea Araujo

Biographical Info Dr. Araujo holds a Ph.D. in Psychology, is BCIA Board Certified in Neurofeedback, a registered clinical counsellor (RCC), and mental health services provider for FNHA and VAC. Her goal is to relieve the suffering and symptoms caused by imbalances in the brain using neurofeedback as a treatment modality in conjunction with psychotherapy. She specializes in addiction, ADHD, anxiety, autism, concussion/traumatic brain injury, depression, memory loss, PTSD/complex trauma, and sleep problems in adults and children. Services provided by Dr. Araujo include: 1) Neurofeedback: Full brain map QEEG assessments, neurofeedback treatments (focus on ADHD, Autism, Mood disorders, Complex trauma/PTSD, Peak performance), Biofeedback/HRV training, 2) Counselling and Psychotherapy, and 3) Psychoeducational Assessments through ABLE Developmental Clinics. Dr. Andrea is a member of the CPA, BCACC, the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB), the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research (ISNR) and the Women's Health Research Cluster at UBC.
