From EEG Data to Clinical Insight — An Introduction to the HBImed Database and Report Generator

Series #45

Webinar

May 18, 2026
1-2 pm ET

This webinar introduces clinicians already familiar with biofeedback and neurofeedback to a powerful next step in brain-based assessment: the HBImed database and its automated Report Generator. Participants will learn how raw EEG and event-related potential (ERP) data can be transformed into clinically actionable reports that inform diagnosis, treatment planning, and neurofeedback protocols.

Presenter

Andreas Müller, Ph.D.

Advancing EEG research and clinical applications through pioneering work in brain mapping and diagnostic methods Dr. Andreas Müller leads groundbreaking research in brain function applications for mental health diagnostics and treatment. As CEO of the Brain and Trauma Foundation since 2006, he has pioneered objective diagnostic methods that bridge the gap between neuroscience and clinical practice. His collaborative work with renowned neurophysiologist Yuri Kropotov led to the creation of extensive normative databases, including EEG recordings from 375 healthy young children, 825 adolescents and adults (age range 5-89) with additional data from Norway and Russia. This comprehensive database has become a cornerstone for quantitative comparisons in mental health diagnostics. His team was the first in the world to publish and apply AI models for classifications in the field of ADHD for the endophenotype. Dr. Müller’s research has demonstrated unprecedented accuracy in diagnosing ADHD through brain function analyses, achieving nearly 100% accuracy in medication response prediction. This methodology has since been expanded to understand and treat chronic pain, anxiety, and PTSD, reflecting his commitment to practical clinical applications. Professional Experience: - CEO, Bündner Brain and Trauma Foundation (2006-present) - Former Head of School Psychological Service Graubünden - Headed 3 clinics in Switzerland International lecturer (South Korea, United States, Israel, Brazil) - Pioneer in Brain function analyses - Developer of normative brain databases - Developer of classification for mental diseasesResearch Focus: - Objective diagnostic methods for mental disorders - ADHD diagnosis and treatment optimization - Applications in emotional dysregulation models to diagnose depression, hypomania, chronic pain, anxiety and human sensitivity - Integration of neuroscience with clinical practice
